1075 Katana by Rick Barrett
29" extended chu kissaki with Suguha/ Midare transitioning hamon.

The hamon starts in the yakidashi area as a slowly increasing in width suguha then quickly transfers into a very rowdy midare. Rick repeated this transition three more times then terminate into undulating midare until finally transitioning back into suguha at the boshi. The blade is forged from 1075 round stock and exhibits very mild sori with just enough fumbari (taper) to emphasize a very graceful elegance.

This sword is in full mount.  Please e-mail me for more info on the mount.
